Flora Food Group is looking for an experienced Identity Assistant Manager – Active Directory to join our Cybersecurity team.
This is a key role responsible for managing and securing our enterprise Identity and Access Management (IAM) environment. You'll work alongside the Identity Manager to ensure our Active Directory services remain secure, resilient, scalable, and aligned with Zero Trust principles while supporting the organization's global cybersecurity strategy.
Role Summary
As the Identity Assistant Manager – Active Directory, you will be responsible for the design, administration, governance, and continuous improvement of Flora Food Group's Active Directory services. You will oversee core identity capabilities including Active Directory, Microsoft Entra ID, Single Sign-On (SSO), Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA), Conditional Access (CA), PKI certificate management, and identity governance.
Working closely with Cybersecurity, Infrastructure, Application, and third-party partners, you will drive security best practices, ensure compliance with internal controls and audit requirements, and lead modernization initiatives that strengthen the organization's identity infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain enterprise Active Directory architecture, including forests, domains, trusts, and site topology.
- Manage identity security through Group Policies, privileged access management, authentication controls, auditing, and identity governance.
- Administer and integrate Microsoft Entra ID, SSO, MFA, Conditional Access, PKI, and hybrid identity solutions.
- Ensure compliance with IT controls, governance standards, and audit requirements, while maintaining comprehensive technical documentation.
- Monitor Active Directory health, performance, availability, risks, and vulnerabilities, driving remediation and continuous improvement.
- Lead Active Directory upgrades, migrations, disaster recovery planning, and modernization initiatives.
- Partner with infrastructure, security, application teams, and external vendors to deliver secure and reliable identity services.
- Provide technical guidance and best practices to internal teams while supporting business and project requirements.
What Does It Take to Be Successful in This Role?
- Identity & Active Directory Expertise – 8+ years of experience managing enterprise Microsoft Active Directory environments, including architecture, Group Policy, DNS, DHCP, ADFS, identity governance, and privileged access management.
- Cloud Identity & Security Knowledge – At least 3 years of experience with Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD), including SSO, MFA, Conditional Access, hybrid identity, and Zero Trust security principles.
- Cybersecurity & Technical Skills – Strong understanding of Identity & Access Management (IAM), PKI, certificate management, authentication technologies, security frameworks, and ITIL service management practices.
- Leadership & Stakeholder Management – Proven ability to collaborate with global teams, business stakeholders, and third-party vendors while leading identity initiatives, audits, and service improvements.
- Continuous Improvement Mindset – A proactive, analytical professional with excellent communication skills, strong problem-solving abilities, and a passion for modernizing identity services and strengthening cyber resilience.
