Hours & Location:
Full Time: Monday-Friday 8am-4:30pm
8036 Tamiami Trail, Venice, FL (Wellen Park)

The Imaging Patient Services Specialist deals directly with Radiologists and referring providers to connect them via telephone to discuss STAT findings. Works directly with the Director of Ancillary Services tracking issues and questions from providers. They are the first point of contact for Radiologists and referring providers to connect. The candidate must have strong customer service skills through effective handling of the incoming calls from providers. Candidate must possess strong computer skills as well as phone knowledge and procedure scheduling to handle incoming calls effectively.

How will you make an impact & Requirements

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

  • Handles multiple calls and texts through delivery of exceptional customer service and support

  • Knowledge of special procedure scheduling (facilities, protocols and procedures)

  • Works directly with Radiologists and referring providers to ensure proper communication and documentation of STAT findings

  • Assign Radiology cases as needed

  • Data entry in Fuji

  • Administrative tasks in relation to locations/leasing (space, renewals, leases)

  • Directs providers when questions are raised regarding imaging results and catalog issues

  • Documents all interactions via telephone in chart to ensure patient and providers are notified properly

  • Excellent communication skills to handle calls in a high volume practice

Education and/or Experience
• High school diploma or general education degree (GED); Radiologic experience of 1+ years, preferred
• Experience working in a fast paced, multi-tasking environment
• Strong computer and phone skills
• Attention to Detail, accuracy, Pride themselves on the ability to organize and process information
