Immersive Communications AI Researcher
Job Responsibilities:
- Conduct advanced research in AI and machine learning to support emerging 6G use cases, including intelligent sensing and haptic communications.
- Design and develop deep learning architectures for modeling complex sensory and perceptual data.
- Investigate novel representation learning and feature abstraction techniques for next-generation communication systems.
- Develop AI-driven algorithms that enhance perceptual quality, efficiency, and robustness in immersive communication scenarios.
- Implement, train, and optimize deep neural network models using modern AI frameworks.
- Design evaluation methodologies and benchmarking frameworks aligned with perceptual and system-level performance metrics.
- Collaborate closely with communications engineers and system researchers to integrate AI models into end-to-end 6G architectures.
- Contribute to technical documentation, patents, and high-impact publications supporting the organization’s 6G strategy.
- Track global trends in 6G, embodied intelligence, multimodal AI, and immersive technologies.
Requirements:
- PhD or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Artificial Intelligence, or a closely related field.
- Strong research background in machine learning, deep learning, or AI-driven signal modeling.
- Strong expertise in deep learning and representation learning, with hands-on experience using frameworks such as PyTorch or TensorFlow, and solid programming skills in Python.
- Experience modeling high-dimensional data (e.g., images, sensor signals, or structured data), with sound understanding of optimization, generalization, and AI system evaluation.
- Experience in AI for communications, intelligent sensing, immersive media, haptic systems, or related 6G-enabling technologies.
- Demonstrated research output (e.g., publications, patents) or prior involvement in strategic R&D or large-scale research initiatives.
- Strong analytical thinking, scientific rigor, and ability to work independently in a research-driven environment.
- Effective communication skills and ability to collaborate across interdisciplinary teams.
