Implementation Analyst – Messaging Compliance (10DLC & Toll-Free)

The Implementation Analyst is responsible for end-to-end onboarding, compliance vetting, and activation of SMS messaging services for customers across Sinch brands, including SimpleTexting, MessageMedia, Sinch Engage, ClickSend, and Sinch Build (future). This role ensures all customer applications for 10DLC and Toll-Free messaging meet carrier, regulatory, and internal compliance requirements prior to activation. The position requires deep operational execution in SMS onboarding workflows, strict adherence to 10DLC and Toll-Free messaging regulations in the United States and Canada, and ongoing enforcement of acceptable use policies. The role also includes customer engagement, escalation handling, and post-approval lifecycle management of messaging campaigns and number provisioning.
Key Responsibilities
- Customer Vetting & Onboarding
Perform end-to-end review of new customer applications for 10DLC and Toll-Free messaging enablement. Validate submitted business information, use cases, campaign details, and supporting documentation. Assess compliance against carrier requirements, internal policies, and regulatory frameworks. Determine approval, rejection, or request for additional information based on compliance findings. Communicate decisions and remediation requirements directly to customers via email or chat. - Regulatory Submissions
Submit approved 10DLC brands and campaigns to The Campaign Registry (TCR). Submit Toll-Free use cases and brand registrations via Zipwhip or applicable systems. Ensure accuracy and completeness of all submissions to minimize carrier rejection risk. - Customer Communication & Compliance Guidance
Conduct enhanced vetting requests when additional validation is required. Provide compliance-oriented guidance to customers to align use cases with SMS regulations. Support customer reorientation when use cases are non-compliant or require restructuring for approval. Maintain professional communication standards during rejection and remediation workflows. - Technical & Operational Escalations
Open and manage technical support tickets for provisioning, number activation, import issues, and messaging failures. Coordinate with engineering and operations teams to resolve implementation-related defects. Manage escalation workflows related to number provisioning, throughput, and messaging delivery issues. - Post-Vetting Operations
Execute text-enable and number import workflows following approval. Manage throughput optimization requests, including TPM adjustments based on compliance eligibility. Handle number pooling requests for customers requiring expanded number capacity. Process call forwarding requests, removals, and configuration changes. Manage porting requests, LOAs, and related customer transitions between carriers or platforms. - Compliance Enforcement
Monitor and enforce adherence to SMS messaging policies and carrier regulations. Initiate campaign deactivation or account suspension for non-compliant usage. Maintain subject matter expertise in prohibited content, acceptable use standards, and carrier-specific rules for US and Canadian messaging ecosystems. - Cross-Functional Support
Respond to internal and external requests via designated operational Slack channel: #saas-implementation-team. Support cross-brand vetting initiatives as required across Sinch business units. - System & Process Handling
Coordinate remediation workflows when Toll-Free or 10DLC submissions are rejected. Maintain accurate documentation of customer decisions, approvals, and compliance actions.
Core Competencies
- Strong understanding of 10DLC and Toll-Free messaging ecosystems in the US and Canada. Regulatory compliance interpretation and enforcement. Operational ticketing and escalation management. Customer communication in high-compliance environments. Process adherence and risk mitigation. Cross-functional coordination across teams in SaaS environments.
Position Requirements
- Experience in messaging compliance, SMS onboarding, SaaS business operations, or similar regulated environments. Familiarity with carrier registration systems such as The Campaign Registry (TCR) and Toll-Free verification workflows. Strong attention to detail and documentation accuracy. Ability to manage multiple concurrent operational workflows under strict compliance requirements. Experience working with customer-facing escalation and remediation processes.
