IN_RBAI_Senior Engineer/Asst. Manager_Complaint Management_IN
- Responsible for quality assurance of purchased raw materials of mechanical parts i.e. die casting parts / Sheet Metal and its production process.
- Identify, Plan and driving the quality improvement projects to address the chronic and critical quality issues of raw materials based on the inputs from the stakeholders
- Plan, execute, oversee the inspection of raw materials to verify conformance with specifications and deliverables.
- Investigate product complaints, identify root cause, and reported quality issues within the CFT team (e.g. internal, supplier, customer, and warranty) and instigate permanent corrective actions.
- Act as a key contact for Global & Regional vendors and purchasing functions by coordinating for Vendor management processes and Supplier Quality strategy initiatives to improve the quality levels of purchased parts.
- Enabling safe launch inspection process for new parts for incident free launches.
- Documentation of defect analysis with 8D report on TRC and MRC for closure.
- Use problem logs to identify and report the recurring issues to ensure the closure accordance to the company guidelines.
- Monitoring the KPIs related to complaint management, inspection, and define measures to achieve the KPIs.
- Active Participation in the Process FMEA’s, Process audit and Supplier Assessment.
- Promote the use of customer preferred techniques for continuous improvement such as Six-Sigma, Poka-Yoke (Error Proofing), and Measurement System Analysis
- Work with internal & external stakeholders to resolve and prevent the quality issues.
B.E in Engineering in Mechanical / Automotive / Mechatronics or relevant
- Experience in manufacturing process of mechanical parts – Aluminum Die casting (ADC), Stamped drawn parts (SDP), Injection molding, Dies & Tools.
- Good knowledge and experience in Problem solving tools (8D, A3PSS, Shainin etc..).
- Demonstrated knowledge of implementing best practices on defect management processes and ability to drive quality initiatives within the supply chain.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities, with a focus on driving results.
- Knowledge and hands on experience on SAP, QMS, PPAP and IATF
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks, priorities, and projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
