Incident Business Management Specialist (Fire Support)
This position serves as a member of the fire, fuels, and aviation programs staff. This position serves as a regional expert in incident business management functions pertaining to wildland fire and all hazard incidents. Duties listed are at the full performance GS-09 grade level.
Tracks policy and guideline developments in incident (such as wildland fire, hurricane, flood, and/or earthquake recovery) business and related functions.
Plans new methods and procedures designed to improve operations and administrative effectiveness within the staff.
Assists with developing incident business related training materials.
Participates in formal and informal training opportunities to provide assistance with the presentation of incident business related materials.
Assists in the resolution of incident (such as wildland fire, hurricane, flood, and/or earthquake recovery) business management billing and payment issues.
Communicates incident business management information amongst internal contacts.
