Your impact:
- Lead a design team to develop and design roadway projects for state and local clients.
- Foster a team environment to ensure a high-quality level of work is being produced.
- Develop and review plans and computations to ensure quality and accuracy of the design work and construction plans.
- Responsible for various aspects of roadway design projects from conceptual phase to final design
- Coordinate and distribute discipline-specific work with team to adhere to project requirements, budget, and schedule
- Work with counterparts from other disciplines on multi-disciplinary projects
- Assist in direct marketing efforts, including proposal writing, trade show/conference attendance
- Maintain industry recognition through prominence in state and regional professional associations
Who you are:
- Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from an ABET accredited program
- 6+ years of experience in INDOT roadway design or local road design
- Familiarity with design software such as MicroStation and OpenRoads
- Indiana PE or the ability to obtain it within 6 months
- Strong oral and written communication skills and ability to work in a team environment
