Industrial Electrician

EIS has been delivering major industrial electrical projects across New Zealand for over three decades. From heavy industry sites like NZAS and Fonterra to complex large-scale installations, we’re known for doing challenging work — and doing it well.

With steady growth in the Southland region, we’re looking for an Industrial Electrician to join our Invercargill-based team.

This is a full-time, permanent position working across a variety of industrial environments. You’ll be involved in installation, maintenance, and project work, with consistent hours and regular overtime opportunities.

We also welcome applications from experienced commercial or domestic electricians who are ready to transition into industrial work.

What you’ll bring

• Current EWRB registration
• Solid electrical experience (industrial preferred but not essential)
• Strong work ethic and willingness to learn
• Good communication and teamwork skills
• Full NZ driver’s licence

The details

• Monday to Friday, minimum 40 hours per week
• Invercargill-based role
• Applicants must already have the right to work in New Zealand
