We are hiring an experienced Industrial Maintenance Electrician to support electrical maintenance and repair activities in a heavy industrial manufacturing environment. This role is responsible for troubleshooting, repairing, installing, and maintaining electrical systems that keep production equipment operating safely and efficiently.
The ideal candidate has experience with industrial electrical systems, PLC troubleshooting, AC/DC motor controls, and preventative maintenance in a manufacturing setting.

Primary Responsibilities
Install, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain industrial electrical and electronic equipment.
Perform routine inspections of production equipment to identify potential issues before failures occur.
Diagnose problems involving AC/DC motors, PLC systems, electrical drives, and electrical controls.
Inspect, maintain, and repair shop equipment, mobile equipment, PLC networks, and overhead cranes.
Service electrical components associated with pumps, motors, cranes, and hydraulic or pneumatic equipment.
Install and maintain electronically controlled systems, including rolling mill loop controls, programmable sequences, secondary distribution centers, and operator control panels.
Balance electrical loads and wire complex industrial circuits.
Use diagnostic equipment such as digital voltmeters, oscilloscopes, paper recorders, multi-voltmeters, and other electrical testing instruments.
Read and interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, and technical documentation.
Maintain accurate maintenance records, repair documentation, and material usage logs.
Provide technical support to maintenance and production teams when equipment issues arise.
Required Qualifications
High school diploma or GED is preferred but not required.
Successful completion of an electrical entrance examination.
3–5 years of heavy industrial electrical maintenance experience, including preventative and routine maintenance.
Working knowledge of shop mathematics and the ability to use drawings, specifications, charts, tables, and precision measuring instruments.
Intermediate knowledge of:
- AC/DC motor theory
- PLC troubleshooting
- Electrical drives
- Industrial electrical controls
- NFPA 70E safety practices
- High-voltage electrical systems
- Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and blueprints.
- Experience using common electrical maintenance hand tools and diagnostic equipment.
Work Environment
This position is based in a heavy industrial manufacturing facility where employees work around large production equipment, electrical systems, cranes, and automated machinery. Candidates should be comfortable working in an active industrial setting while following established safety procedures.
