  • What You'll Do

  • Develop and improve reliability and predictive maintenance programs for critical manufacturing equipment
  • Analyze equipment failures using Root Cause Failure Analysis (RCFA) and Failure Modes and Effects Analysis (FMEA)
  • Utilize condition monitoring methods such as vibration analysis, thermography, and lubrication analysis
  • Partner with maintenance and operations teams to optimize preventive maintenance strategies
  • Identify opportunities to improve equipment uptime, reliability, and maintenance efficiency
  • Track and report key maintenance and reliability performance metrics
  • Support major equipment repairs, shutdowns, and capital improvement projects
  • Work with equipment vendors and contractors to resolve technical issues
  • Provide technical guidance and troubleshooting support to maintenance personnel
  • Ensure compliance with safety and environmental standards
  • Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related discipline
  • At least 3 years of maintenance reliability experience in a manufacturing or heavy industrial environment
  • At least 5 years of hands-on maintenance experience
  • Strong understanding of predictive and preventive maintenance practices
  • Experience using CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management Systems)
  • Working knowledge of reliability methodologies including RCM, RCFA, FMEA, and TPM
  • Ability to analyze equipment performance data and troubleshoot mechanical and electrical systems
  • Familiarity with OSHA and ASTM standards
  • Excellent problem-solving, communication, and teamwork skills
  • Willingness to work in the field and support technicians with hands-on troubleshooting and repairs
  • Preferred Qualifications

  • Reliability certification such as CMRP or CRE
  • Experience with heavy manufacturing or metal processing equipment
  • Knowledge of Six Sigma, Lean Manufacturing, or continuous improvement principles
