What You'll Do
Develop and improve reliability and predictive maintenance programs for critical manufacturing equipment
Analyze equipment failures using Root Cause Failure Analysis (RCFA) and Failure Modes and Effects Analysis (FMEA)
Utilize condition monitoring methods such as vibration analysis, thermography, and lubrication analysis
Partner with maintenance and operations teams to optimize preventive maintenance strategies
Identify opportunities to improve equipment uptime, reliability, and maintenance efficiency
Track and report key maintenance and reliability performance metrics
Support major equipment repairs, shutdowns, and capital improvement projects
Work with equipment vendors and contractors to resolve technical issues
Provide technical guidance and troubleshooting support to maintenance personnel
Ensure compliance with safety and environmental standards
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related discipline
At least 3 years of maintenance reliability experience in a manufacturing or heavy industrial environment
At least 5 years of hands-on maintenance experience
Strong understanding of predictive and preventive maintenance practices
Experience using CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management Systems)
Working knowledge of reliability methodologies including RCM, RCFA, FMEA, and TPM
Ability to analyze equipment performance data and troubleshoot mechanical and electrical systems
Familiarity with OSHA and ASTM standards
Excellent problem-solving, communication, and teamwork skills
Willingness to work in the field and support technicians with hands-on troubleshooting and repairs
Preferred Qualifications
Reliability certification such as CMRP or CRE
Experience with heavy manufacturing or metal processing equipment
Knowledge of Six Sigma, Lean Manufacturing, or continuous improvement principles
