Infant Care Teacher (Part-Time)
Job Description
- Implementing and execution of classroom and outdoor activities and ensuring a safe, conducive learning environment for the children
- Complete lesson evaluations / reflection
- Communicate with families on their child's progress and development
- Maintain record keeping for centre's operation purpose - audit, licensing, tracking, monitoring. Active participation and sharing of ideas, suggestions, learning, concerns and challenges during meetings.
- Plan and carry out events, excursions, workshops, collaborations with community etc.
- Provide coverage duties for staff on leave and other adhoc duties.
Job Requirements:
- Must have attained either Higher Certificate in Infant Care (HCIC) or Advanced Certificate in Early Years (ACEY)
- Adequate knowledge of current early childhood care and education development theories, research and practices possess classroom management skills and able to handle children's temperaments
- Possess the necessary skills to plan, execute and evaluate appropriate developmental lessons
- Preferably have infant care experience in a pre-school setting
