Infant Care Teacher (Part-Time)

Job Description

  • Implementing and execution of classroom and outdoor activities and ensuring a safe, conducive learning environment for the children
  • Complete lesson evaluations / reflection
  • Communicate with families on their child's progress and development
  • Maintain record keeping for centre's operation purpose - audit, licensing, tracking, monitoring. Active participation and sharing of ideas, suggestions, learning, concerns and challenges during meetings.
  • Plan and carry out events, excursions, workshops, collaborations with community etc.
  • Provide coverage duties for staff on leave and other adhoc duties.


Job Requirements:

  • Must have attained either Higher Certificate in Infant Care (HCIC) or Advanced Certificate in Early Years (ACEY)
  • Adequate knowledge of current early childhood care and education development theories, research and practices possess classroom management skills and able to handle children's temperaments
  • Possess the necessary skills to plan, execute and evaluate appropriate developmental lessons
  • Preferably have infant care experience in a pre-school setting
