Infection Control and Prevention Specialist
Overview
Presbyterian Homes & Services is seeking an Infection Control and Prevention Specialist for our team. This is an opportunity for a Registered Nurse or Licensed Practical Nurse to monitor and advice on infection control measures established through organizational policy and procedures in coordination with the PHS Clinical teams.
REPORTING STRUCTURE: The Infection Control and Prevention Specialist reports to the Clinical Administrator.

Responsibilities
The Infection Control and Prevention Specialist is responsible for implementing the infection prevention and control program and education. The Infection Control and Prevention Specialist uses clinical knowledge and specialized training to coordinate, deliver and maintain efficient and effective infection prevention and control programs and conducts infection control research and serves as a consultant to other departments to ensure compliance with evidence-based infection control standards. The Infection Control and Prevention Specialist provides clinical education to employees with the goal of providing services excellence and decreasing the risk of infectious disease transmission.

Pay Range
The estimated starting pay range for this role is $32.45 - $40.56 per hour. This good faith estimate is based upon PHS’s typical starting pay range for this role. Actual pay range depends upon many factors including each individual employee’s qualifications and market conditions and is subject to change.Benefits
Full-time benefits-eligible employment begins at a minimum of 30 hours per week:
