Information Systems Analyst-Public Works/ Environmental Services

Job Description:
The Public Works Environmental Services Division is seeking a knowledgeable and customer-focused Information Systems Analyst to support technology operations across multiple facilities. This position serves as the primary technology resource for the Environmental Services team, ensuring that hardware, software, communication systems, and operational technology function efficiently to support daily operations.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide technical support and assistance to Environmental Services staff across all facilities.
Manage and maintain mobile devices, desktop computers, laptops, and related equipment.
Ensure conference room technology and communication systems are functioning properly.
Install, configure, update, and troubleshoot software and hardware systems.
Manage and support facility camera and security monitoring systems.
Track, maintain, and report key performance indicators (KPIs) to support operational goals and decision-making.
Train employees on the effective, efficient, and appropriate use of technology and software applications.
Diagnose and resolve technology-related issues in a timely manner to minimize operational disruptions.
Coordinate with Information Technology staff, vendors, and department personnel to implement technology solutions and improvements.
Maintain system documentation, inventory records, and technology-related procedures.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Systems, or related field and three years of programming, system analysis, or work experience related to the area of assignment, or an equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to successfully perform the essential duties of the job, such as those listed above. Experience administering Mobile Device Management (MDM) software and managing hardware lifecycle management. Experience with digital signage and audio/visual (A/V) equipment and technology would be a plus. Must possess a valid Kansas Driver’s license.
Salary Range:
$27.54-$36.83/hr.
