Information Systems Engineer, Business Systems
You will design, build, and maintain integrations and automations that connect CRM, procurement, finance, supply chain, and external partner systems. You will implement APIs and iPaaS solutions, write Python tools and SQL for ETL and analytics, create and run tests, monitor production integrations, lead incident response, and document technical designs and processes.
Responsibilities
- Design integrations across enterprise business systems using MuleSoft or other iPaaS platforms
- Build Python-based tools to support integrations, automations, and process optimization
- Write and optimize SQL for data extraction, transformation, reconciliation, and analytics
- Collaborate with partner engineering and operations teams to ensure integration robustness, security, and scalability
- Create and execute unit, integration, and regression tests for custom components and data flows
- Monitor and support launched integrations using metrics and logs to improve reliability and performance
- Contribute to technical documentation, design reviews, and version control using GitHub and CI/CD practices
- Lead incident response and perform root cause analysis for critical production applications and integrations
Requirements
- 8+ years architecting, designing, and scaling enterprise APIs and integrations in high-volume environments
- 4+ years hands-on experience with an iPaaS integration platform, preferably MuleSoft
- 3+ years recent hands-on experience with Python, Kotlin, Java, or Go
- Experience leveraging LLM-based tools (e.g., Claude Code, Codex, Cursor, Windsurf) for productivity
- Experience leveraging AI/ML-based automations for technical and business processes
- Hands-on experience integrating with enterprise systems such as Salesforce, Oracle Fusion Cloud, Workday, or SAP
- Advanced proficiency in SQL and familiarity with data pipelines in Airflow, Fivetran, Prefect, or Databricks
- Familiarity with cloud platforms, preferably AWS, and services like S3, Lambda, SQS, and RDS
- Strong understanding of software engineering best practices including code reviews, CI/CD, and documentation
- Proven track record delivering complex integrations for procurement, finance, or supply chain systems
- Experience managing complex applications and integrations in production, providing KTLO support and root cause analysis
