Role Description\:
You will have responsibility for delivering new enabling capabilities, developing and delivering systems and services. You will be responsible for the maintaining, managing and optimising the overall performance of the infrastructure and be resolving infrastructure support issues on Linux Platforms. You will be involved in the designing, deploying, and maintenance the organization’s IT infrastructure.
Core Duties\:
- Providing support with the business Infrastructure – using Linux platforms
- Design, deploy, and maintain the organization's IT infrastructure, including servers, storage, networking, and security systems
- Use infrastructure hosting experience to physically install, configure and deploy IT hardware
- Researching problems and issues, gather information from a range of physical and informational sources, review defects on Linux platforms or assembly to gain a complete understanding of the problem and all relevant circumstances
- Administering a virtualised production environment using common industry toolsets
Essential Skills\:
- Experience Installing, configuring & supporting Linux operating systems – Ubuntu, RedHat
- Good experience in automation scripting toolsets and methodologies (e.g. ansibles and Semaphore)
- Experience in patching Linux systems and applications across large scale estates
- Creation of hardened templates for Linux systems to best practise standards
- Proven experience in security vulnerability issues through Linux infrastructure
- Experience with a variety of IT administration & management applications

Resolving infrastructure support issues, maintenance and overall management of the overall performance of infrastructure. Customers are our internal engineering and product teams and we will work to bridge the gap between infrastructure and software development and drive efficiency through high levels of automation.
