Inside Sales I

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Answer incoming calls and emails to the Inside Sales Department.
  • Generate Quotes, order entry, certificates, etc to move orders through the lifecycle.
  • Learn Burkert’s offerings for potential and current customers.
  • Partner and liaise effectively with Field Sales, Technical Sales and others to meet customer needs, support full cycle sales coverage and achieve regional goals.
  • Learn Burkert processes and principles to drive growth.
  • Develop a functional understanding of our customers and industries as related to the Burkert products or services being sold.
  • Begin a rotation of training to gain knowledge of products, selling skills, customer relationship skills and others as needed.
  • Other duties and responsibilities as assigned or required.

Education and Experience:

  • Associate degree is preferred
  • 2+ years of customer service and/or inside experience preferably in a manufacturing, office environment

Skills:

  • Proficient in Windows and Microsoft Office
  • Experience using SAP Preferred
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills both verbal and written.
  • Quick learner, receptive to coaching, and collaborative.
  • Exceptional time management, attention to detail, and follow-up skills
  • High energy, entrepreneurial spirit, initiative-taking, and goal oriented
  • Uncompromising commitment to driving a positive customer experience each and every interaction
