Inside Sales Representative

Are you an experienced Inside Sales professional looking for an opportunity to grow? If so, Emerson has an exciting position for you! Based in Pearland, TX, you will provide total support to sales representatives and their customers by providing technical support, pre-sale, and post-sales activities. In this position, you will partner with customers to make the world healthier, safer, and balanced!

In this Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:

  • Provide full customer service and order management.
  • Take ownership to understand the customer's needs.
  • Efficiently offer product alternatives for customers based on clear application requirements to meet customer and support sales objectives best.
  • Act as an information resource for Field Sales Representatives.
  • Improve the scope of supply.
  • Review incoming order requests.
  • Identify opportunities for expanding the sale through additional options and complimentary products.
  • Represent Rosemount policies and practices properly within a variety of communication channels to customers.

You efficiently communicate in various settings: one-on-one, in small and large groups, or among diverse styles and position levels, gain insight into customer needs, persist in accomplishing objectives despite obstacles and setbacks, break down objectives into appropriate initiatives and actions, apply knowledge of internal structures, processes, and culture to resourcing efforts.
For This Role, You Will Need:
  • Associate's Degree
  • Three (3) years of related experience
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills in a global, heavily matrixed organization, combined with exceptional attention to detail and strong organizational abilities, are essential for success in this role.
  • Legal authorization to work in the United States
Preferred Qualifications That Set You Apart:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or technical field
  • Bi-lingual a plus
