Installation and Commissioning Engineer
Job Summary
An Installation and Commissioning Engineer at Tetra Pak installs, commissions, and services automated production systems worldwide, handling troubleshooting, maintenance, and customer training while working closely with internal teams. The role requires strong engineering experience, PLC knowledge, and a hands-on, customer-focused approach with frequent international travel up to 200 days yearly.
Base location is Fritzlar, Germany or Aarhus, Denmark
What you will do
As part of the team you will primarily spend your time conducting;
- Installation and commissioning of new machines and lines
- Hands-on maintenance and troubleshooting on existing machines and lines
- Training client machine operators and maintenance staff in Tetra Pak equipment
- Provide advice regarding optimization of our client's existing lines
- You will work in close collaboration with your colleagues; mechanical designers and project managers both during installation of new machines and in the commissioning phase, as well as connected to development and optimization of equipment.
We believe you have
- Engineering degree or similar technical background
- A few years of experience in automation, mechanical, or electrical engineering
- Strong practical, hands-on experience
- Knowledge of PLC programming and general software
- Ability to understand complex automated systems in the food industry
- Good IT skills
- Proficiency in English, German and Spanish is an advantage
- Independent and service-oriented mindset
- Strong customer focus and relationship-building skills
- Good intercultural understanding and ability to work globally
- Team player with the ability to work autonomously
