Installation Tester

We are looking for a skilled Installation Tester to carry out electrical testing activities on low-voltage installations prior to live commissioning. The role focuses on ensuring safety, compliance, and quality through systematic testing, accurate documentation, and close collaboration with commissioning and operations teams.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Conducting testing of low-voltage electrical installations prior to commissioning
• Focused on ensuring safety, compliance, and quality through systematic testing, accurate documentation, and close collaboration with commissioning and operations teams.
• Perform dead testing on electrical installations, including:
  • Insulation resistance
  • Continuity
  • Polarity
  • Ductor testing
  • Dielectric pressure testing
• Execute testing for installations including:
  • Power and control cabling
  • Busways
  • Electrical distribution panels
  • Switchboards
  • Grounding and earthing networks
• Verify correct polarity, phase sequence, circuit identification, and labeling prior to live commissioning
• Identify, report, and assist in resolving:
  • Wiring defects
  • Termination errors
  • Installation non conformances
• Prepare and maintain:
  • Snag lists
  • Test reports
  • QA/QC documentation
  • Commissioning records with a high degree of accuracy
• Coordinate closely with operations teams to ensure zero fault handover and readiness for live testing
• Enforce strict LOTO (Lockout/Tagout) and mission critical safety protocols in live facility environments

QUALIFICATIONS:

Required:

• Technical Electrical education or a related field
• Hands on experience in electrical installation testing
• Knowledge of electrical testing methods and safety procedures

Optional / Advantage:

• “Ispitivanje električnih instalacija niskog napona” (ZIRS) certification
• Experience in industrial, mission critical, or data center projects
• Familiarity with QA/QC and commissioning documentation
