Instructor - Biostatistics
Oulton College is seeking a Biostatistics Instructor to deliver instruction in biostatistics, epidemiology, and research within the Dental Hygiene program. This role supports students in developing analytical, research, and evidence\-based decision\-making skills essential to professional practice.

Key Responsibilities<\/span><\/b>
<\/span><\/div>
<\/span><\/div>
- Deliver course content in biostatistics, epidemiology, and research methods<\/span>
<\/span><\/li>Teach statistical concepts including descriptive and inferential statistics, hypothesis testing, and data interpretation <\/span>
<\/span><\/div><\/li>Guide students in research design, data analysis, and critical appraisal of scientific literature <\/span>
<\/span><\/div><\/li>Develop and evaluate assessments (exams, research projects, and written reports) <\/span>
<\/span><\/div><\/li>- Support student learning through feedback, mentorship, and academic guidance<\/span>
<\/span><\/li>- Participate in program development and continuous improvement initiatives<\/span>

<\/div><\/span>Requirements<\/h3>
- Bachelor\u2019s degree in dental hygiene, public health, statistics, epidemiology, or related field
<\/span><\/div><\/li>- Post\-secondary teaching experience considered an asset
<\/span><\/li>- Strong knowledge of biostatistics, epidemiology, and research methodology
<\/span><\/li>- Excellent communication and organizational skills<\/span>
