Instrumentation & Calibration Specialist (Pharmaceutical)

Job Description

  • Perform day to day planning and scheduling instrument calibrations.
  • Review and modify the calibration program to enhance the instrument reliability.
  • Initial corrective actions for instrumentation, control and repairs.
  • Familiar and ensure all work conforms to Good Manufacturing Practices.
  • Perform installation, operational and performance qualification of manufacturing, packaging equipment and facility.
  • Manage calibration/ E&I technicians to perform instrument calibration and troubleshooting according to SOP.
  • Problem solving of PLC and SCADA systems, also performing backup and archival of process data backup.
  • Maintain a safe and clean working environment on areas under one's responsibility.
  • Coordinating with vendors and suppliers for calibration services and spare part procurement.
  • Calibration of temperature sensors, temperature transmitters, pressure gauges, pressure transmitters, pH, DO and conductivity sensors and transmitters.

Requirements

  • Degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering or other related fields
  • More than 10 years of continuous experience with process equipment and instruments in the Pharmaceuticals Industry
  • Experience coordinating process equipment installation and CSV qualifications
  • Proven experience in calibrating temperature sensors, transmitters, gauges and other related equipment
  • Proven experience in maintenance of ophthalmic machine (Optima), and dry powder filling machines.
  • Experience within greenfield pharmaceutical projects
