Intake/Recertification Officer Supervisor
SCOPE:
Responsible for intake and recertification activities for the HCV Program applicants and participants in accordance with established policies. Supervises Application Specialists and Recertification Officers I. Implements new policies and procedures.
ACCOUNTABILITY:
Directly responsible to the Assistant Director of Housing Choice Voucher Program.
EXAMPLES OF WORK PERFORMED:
Monitors scheduling of recertifications prior to lease expiration.
Supervises HCV intake and recertification staff.
Assists with application processing requirements.
Cooperates with social service organizations, etc., regarding resident income and obtains information needed to complete recertifications.
Supervises update of rent changes and assists in monthly close-out.
Performs and monitors monthly program report requirements.
Acts as liaison between Landlord and Tenant disputes.
Coordinates program activities with Social Service organizations.
Coordinates information with supervisor.
Represents the Authority during tenant hearings.
Quality reviews and assists subordinates with problem resolution.
Works computer report requirements with supervisor. Trains subordinates in existing and new policies and procedures.
Performs other duties as assigned.
