Integrated Business Planning Manager

S&OP Process & System Management

  • Facilitate and continuously evolve the ASICS Oceania Integrated Business Planning (IBP/S&OP) process, ensuring all templates, systems and deliverables are fit for purpose, consistently executed and aligned to best-practice planning standards
  • Partner with Demand and Supply Planners to ensure all Plans are complete, achievable and aligned with total business Strategic directions, Inventory targets and Operational limits
  • Support the monthly Executive S&OP review, presenting a clear, data-driven narrative of the forward business outlook including Product and Channel performance and quantified Risks and Opportunities requiring leadership decision or action
  • Align on Planned outcomes with Finance ensuring a consistent bridge to P&L and Balance Sheet plans

Seasonal Critical Path Management

  • Lead end-to-end Seasonal Calendar management across all business functions, ensuring Pre-Season milestones support Product Development and Range Architecture processes, Sell-In activities are executed on schedule with appropriate plans in place, and In-Season and Outlet trading milestones are achieved with appropriate governance
  • Drive a more proactive and better-planned business by accelerating milestone achievement, surfacing timeline risks earlier in the planning cycle, and identifying process or system improvement opportunities
  • Act as the central coordination point between Sales, Product, Operations, Finance and Planning teams to resolve cross-functional planning and timeline conflicts and maintain critical path integrity

Assortment and Pre Season Product Planning

  • Own the AOP Option planning process ensuring Product Teams have suitable Range Architecture plans to initiate the Seasonal Development Process, and that Sales and Assortment Teams have commercially built Option Plans to range within
  • Manage a single, authoritative AOP Seasonal Line List encompassing Products and Attributes, Intake Margin Metrics, Demand Plan Forecasts, Range selections, Lifecycle dates and all key ranging parameters ensuring one version of the truth is accessible and consistently used across functions
  • Own and manage the Intake Margin Plan, proactively identifying opportunities to improve overall Operating Income through Product mix optimisation, Pricing strategy and channel allocation decisions
  • Conduct analysis to identify pricing opportunities ensuring the Seasonal range remains commercially positioned and margin targets are protected

Trade Insights, Actions and Outcomes

  • Generate actionable Omni channel trade insights that directly improve in-season trading performance and drive measurable improvement across key commercial KPIs
  • Lead Gross Margin analysis across Intake vs Traded results identifying in season opportunities to improve Margin and recommend corrective actions to grow GM$
  • Manage the EoS Product Hindsight process consolidating input from Channel Planners and Sales Teams to produce structured learnings that directly inform future range and planning decisions
  • Conduct Options Productivity and Tail Analysis to support ongoing SKU rationalisation and surface ranging opportunities to expand and drive sales

Stakeholder Engagement and Leadership

  • Facilitate cross-functional alignment across Sales, Marketing, Finance, Product and Supply Chain, building a planning culture that values data-led decision-making and proactive risk management

  • Prior Experience in Merchandise Planning at a Manager level
  • Established ability to lead and motivate a team
  • Able to communicate and influence commercially with a well-intentioned point of view
  • Demonstrated good commercial/business acumen

  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Ability to deliver tight deadlines
