What you will do:
- Develop, maintain, and enhance backend services, APIs, and microservices using Java and Kotlin.
- Implement new features based on business and technical requirements.
- Collaborate with product managers, frontend developers, QA engineers, and other stakeholders to deliver scalable and reliable solutions.
- Write clean, maintainable, and well-tested code following engineering best practices.
- Participate in code reviews and contribute to code quality and development standards.
- Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve production and non-production issues.
- Design and implement integrations with internal and external systems.
- Develop and maintain RESTful APIs and event-driven solutions.
- Monitor application performance and contribute to system reliability, scalability, and observability.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives related to architecture, development processes, and operational excellence.
We are looking for people with:
- Intermediate English skills.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics, or related fields.
- Experience developing backend applications using Java and/or Kotlin.
- Solid understanding of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP), Clean Code,SOLID principles, and software design patterns.
- Experience with Spring Boot and the Spring ecosystem.
- Experience building and consuming RESTful APIs.
- Knowledge of microservices architecture and distributed systems concepts.
- Experience with relational databases such as PostgreSQL, MySQL, or SQL Server.
- Familiarity with messaging platforms such as Kafka and RabbitMQ.
- Experience with Git and collaborative development workflows.
- Knowledge of unit and integration testing practices and frameworks.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
- Understanding of observability concepts, including logging, monitoring, and metrics.
Nice to have:
- Experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
- Familiarity with NoSQL databases such as MongoDB or Redis.
- Experience with event-driven architectures.
- Knowledge of Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, CloudFormation, etc.).
- Experience with monitoring tools such as New Relic, Datadog, Grafana, or Prometheus.
- Experience with Python or other scripting languages.
