Job Responsibilities

Job Summary

Responsible for the application of all available security tools and intelligence to identify, communicate,

and provide technical guidance to help resolve technical anomalies and vulnerabilities across the

Company’s IT environment.

Core Responsibilities

• Performs security data analysis and event tracking.

• Obtains, monitors, reviews, and analyzes reports, logs, and other security-related information

from various tools, network and other computing devices, external intelligence sources, and the

Company employees.

• Utilizes security logs and tools to identify vulnerabilities in systems, and detect anomalous activity.

• Liaises with network operations, application, sever, and workstation groups to deliver actionable

guidance to mitigate risk from the evolving threat environment and existing vulnerabilities.

• Proactively identifies gaps in the security visibility provided by current tools and services.

• Works to identify critical event data for additional analysis and escalation as appropriate.

• Responds to reported security incidents and events through the Company’s ticketing system.

• Utilizes all available resources to provide real-time intelligence during incident response activities.

• Performs incident forensics.

• Writes documentation and reports.

• Evaluates new security technology in the Company environment.
