Role Purpose

The Inventory Clerk is responsible for managing, organizing, and maintaining inventory for commissary and catering operations within a Fixed Base Operator (FBO) environment. This role ensures accurate inventory control, timely stocking of aircraft supplies, and efficient support of private aviation and customer service operations while maintaining compliance with safety, security, and quality standards.

What you will be doing

  • Receive, inspect, stock, and organize commissary inventory and aircraft supplies
  • Monitor inventory levels and assist with replenishment orders to maintain adequate stock levels
  • Prepare and distribute catering items, beverages, snacks, and onboard supplies for private and corporate aircraft
  • Conduct routine inventory counts and maintain accurate inventory records and documentation
  • Ensure proper storage, rotation, and handling of food, beverages, and commissary products
  • Verify deliveries for accuracy and report shortages, damages, or discrepancies promptly
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of commissary storage areas, refrigerators, and supply rooms
  • Coordinate with flight crews, customer service personnel, vendors, and operations teams to fulfill aircraft service requests
  • Follow all food safety, sanitation, airport security, and company procedures
  • Operate inventory systems, scanners, and basic computer programs as required
  • Assist with loading and transporting commissary items to aircraft when necessary
  • Support operational needs during peak periods and special customer requests
  • Perform other duties as requested

What we are looking for:

  • High school diploma or GED
  • Must be 18 years of age or older
  • Verbal and written communications skills
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Basic communication and teamwork skills
  • Reliable attendance and punctuality
  • Must have reliable telephone and transportation
  • Previous inventory, warehouse, catering, hospitality, or aviation experience
  • Basic computer and inventory management skills
  • FBO commissary, warehouse, kitchen, and airport ramp environment
  • Exposure to varying temperatures, including refrigerated storage areas
  • Fast-paced operational setting supporting private and corporate aviation clients
  • Requires standing, walking, lifting, and transporting supplies throughout shifts
  • Ability to lift, push, and pull up to 50 pounds regularly
  • Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
  • Ability to bend, stoop, reach, and carry supplies frequently
  • Ability to work indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions
  • Must be able to take verbally direct in English
  • Must be able to read, write, understand and carry out instructions in English
  • Must pass pre-employment and random drug tests
  • Must pass a pre-employment background check
  • Must meet necessary requirements to obtain a security sensitive identification badge
  • Must be in proper uniform or business attire as directed by company officials
  • Identification badges must always be visible
  • Adhere to company policies and procedures and participate in achievement of company objectives
