Inventory Control Specialist

Position Summary
The Warehouse Inventory Control Specialist is responsible for maintaining accurate inventory records across all inbound and outbound shipments. This role ensures the integrity of inventory data, collaborates with internal and external stakeholders, and supports compliance and operational excellence throughout the warehouse network.
Key Responsibilities
· Ensure all inbound and outbound inventory transactions are properly recorded and reconciled.
· Collaborate with the Compliance Specialist to verify accuracy of exterior warehouse inventories.
· Issue and manage requests from third-party logistics providers (3PLs) that require quality testing or validation.
· Partner with the Raw Material Supervisor and Finished Goods Supervisor to resolve inventory discrepancies and maintain data integrity.
· Conduct routine inventory checks and cycle counts to ensure alignment with system records.
· Lead and execute month-end inventory counts, ensuring timely and accurate reporting.
· Maintain documentation and audit trails for all inventory adjustments and investigations.
· Support continuous improvement initiatives related to inventory control and warehouse accuracy.
· Perform other duties as assigned by Inventory Control Supervisor or Warehouse Operations Manager.
Qualifications
· High school diploma or equivalent required; associate or bachelor’s degree in supply chain, logistics, or related field preferred.
· 2+ years of experience in warehouse inventory control or logistics operations.
· Strong understanding of inventory systems, warehouse workflows, and compliance standards.
· Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and warehouse management systems (WMS); experience with Oracle or TMS systems is a plus.
· Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
· Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
Physical Requirements
· Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand/walk for extended periods.
· Comfortable working in warehouse environments with varying temperatures.
