Inventory Management Specialist

Manages DCAA IT equipment and accountable property. Administers the Multi-Functional Device (MFD) inventory/lease program to ensure property accountability and support uninterrupted mission execution.
Maintains and validates accountable property records in ELMS/APSR (or successors), ensuring transactions are supported and recorded throughout the lifecycle: receipt, issue, transfer, storage, excess, reutilization, and disposal.
Coordinates acquisition and replenishment actions by validating requirements, ensuring documentation completeness, and aligning actions with established processes and constraints (e.g., security handling, disposition rules, operational priorities).
Plans and schedules required physical inventories and supports annual 100% inventory completion (or other directed requirements), including inventory methodology, documentation, and reconciliation steps.
Prepares assessment itineraries, entrance/exit brief materials, and issues inspection checklists and post-visit memoranda documenting observations and required corrective actions.
Must be a U.S Citizen as verified through E-Verify Program Drug Testing: If you are given access to classified information, you will be subject to random drug testing. If you are selected for a special sensitive position, you will be placed in a drug testing designated position. You must pass a drug test before your assignment to such a position and you will be subject to random drug testing subsequent to your assignment. Background Investigation: All selectees will be subject to a personnel security investigation which must be favorably adjudicated for occupancy of a sensitive position and/or access to classified information. If you are selected for a critical/special sensitive position, you will be subject to a Single Scope Background Investigation (SSBI). For a critical sensitive position, you must be able to obtain and maintain security clearance eligibility at the Top Secret level. For a special sensitive position, you must be able to obtain and maintain security clearance eligibility at the Top Secret/Sensitive Compartmented Information (TS/SCI) level AND you will be subject to a random counterintelligence scope polygraph.
