Investment Operations Initiatives Delivery Manager

We’re currently looking to hire an Investment Operations Initiatives Delivery Manager to join L&G Asset Management.

As Investment Operations Initiatives Delivery Manager you’ll be Accountable for supporting successful delivery of operating model change across Investment Operations with a focus on OTC and ETD post trade workflow.

You’ll Work with internal and external stakeholders to deliver high quality solutions and collaborate with teams to effectively deliver change at a fast pace, as well as embracing teamwork and open communication in the workplace.

You’ll use your experience to work with internal and external teams to deliver fit for purpose, scalable, global solutions based on standardised services, leveraging automation and AI capabilities where relevant and manage resolution or escalation of risks and issues as delivery progresses.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Managing delivery of initiatives from design and build through to testing and operational readiness across Investment Operations
  • Working closely with stakeholders, outsourced providers and third parties to ensure timely, high-quality delivery aligned to business and regulatory requirements
  • Collaborating across teams to track milestones, manage risks and issues, and ensure effective escalation where required
  • Facilitating workshops and driving alignment across stakeholders to agree pragmatic solutions to complex challenges
  • Contributing subject matter expertise and supporting innovative approaches to delivering operating model change
  • Identifying and driving continuous improvement opportunities to enhance processes and ways of working
  • Building and maintaining strong relationships with vendors and partners, representing the business in forums and discussions
  • Ensuring solutions are implemented in line with risk, control and regulatory frameworks while supporting long-term operational scalability

Who we’re looking for:

  • Experience within asset management and strong understanding of investment operations
  • Knowledge of post-trade derivatives workflows, including OTC and ETD processes
  • Proven experience delivering operating model change within operational or outsourced environments
  • Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills across a range of internal and external partners
  • Experience working within risk and control frameworks and delivering compliant solutions
  • Excellent planning, organisation and problem-solving skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities
  • Clear and confident communication skills, with the ability to tailor messaging to different audiences
  • A collaborative, adaptable approach with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced and evolving environment
