Role Overview
As the Investor Relations Analyst, you’ll support the Client Relations & Capital Markets team by analyzing portfolio data and delivering high-quality investor reporting and communications that strengthen relationships with current and prospective investors.
Investor Reporting & Analytics
- Produce quarterly investor and consultant reporting materials (e.g., questionnaires, due diligence requests) by gathering, validating, and analyzing portfolio data
- Prepare clear explanations of financial and portfolio performance data for external audiences
- Conduct research and develop reports to support senior team members and strategic initiatives
RFPs & Investor Deliverables
- Support Requests for Proposals (RFPs) and large-scale investor questionnaires by synthesizing inputs from Portfolio Management, Investments, Accounting, Compliance, Tax, Sustainability, and other teams
- Draft, edit, and format polished, institutional-quality responses and presentations that meet tight deadlines
- Prepare written responses for ad hoc investor requests and data inquiries
Investor Relations & Communication
- Monitor and respond to investor inquiries via the team inbox, ensuring timely, accurate, and professional communication
- Deliver a high standard of service to both existing and prospective investors
- Prepare materials for investor meetings, virtual sessions, and on-site property tours; capture detailed and actionable meeting notes
Systems, Data & Operations
- Manage the investor portal, including document uploads, contact updates, and distribution lists
- Maintain databases, tracking logs, and internal records to support team operations and reporting accuracy
- Assist with intake, processing, and filing of investor legal documentation
Quality & Process Improvement
- Proofread, edit, and format documents to ensure clarity, consistency, and accuracy
- Identify opportunities to enhance processes and implement best practices to improve efficiency and output quality
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Real Estate, Finance, Business, or a related field, or equivalent experience
- 1–2 years of experience in investor relations, finance, real estate, or a related discipline
- Proficiency in Excel (e.g., pivot tables, VLOOKUP, SUMIF) and strong working knowledge of Word, PowerPoint, and PDF tools
- Experience with CRM platforms (e.g., Salesforce, Juniper Square) and collaboration tools (e.g., Teams, Zoom)
- Strong analytical skills with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail
- Excellent organization and prioritization skills, with the ability to manage deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Clear, professional communication skills (written and verbal)
- Collaborative, self-motivated, and adaptable under changing priorities
- Structured problem-solver with a focus on delivering actionable insights
- Demonstrated Excel proficiency and attention to detail, validated through the interview process
