Investor Relations & Fundraising Associate – Client Role
About the Role
Our client, a growing alternative investment manager, is seeking an Investor Relations & Fundraising Associate to join its capital formation team. This individual will play a key role in supporting fundraising initiatives, investor communications, and business development efforts across the firm's investment strategies.
The successful candidate will work closely with senior leadership, investment professionals, and cross-functional teams to help deliver a best-in-class investor experience while supporting the firm's continued growth. This role offers significant exposure to fundraising, product positioning, investor reporting, and strategic projects within a collaborative investment environment.
Responsibilities
- Support fundraising and business development initiatives through the preparation of marketing materials, investor presentations, and fundraising collateral.
- Manage and coordinate responses to investor due diligence requests, RFPs, DDQs, consultant questionnaires, and other information requests.
- Draft, review, and maintain investor-facing materials to ensure consistency, accuracy, and alignment with firm messaging.
- Partner with investment, finance, operations, and legal teams to gather and synthesize information for prospective and existing investors.
- Analyze and organize complex information and data, translating investment concepts into clear, concise, and compelling communications.
- Assist with investor onboarding activities, ongoing relationship management, and recurring reporting requirements.
- Maintain investor databases, marketing content, and fundraising documentation.
- Support strategic projects related to capital raising, product development, and business growth initiatives.
- Help improve internal processes and workflows that enhance the investor experience and fundraising function.
Qualifications & Preferred Experience
- 3–7 years of experience within investor relations, capital raising, fundraising support, investment banking, private credit, private equity, asset management, or a related financial services environment.
- Strong written communication skills with the ability to develop polished, professional investor-facing materials.
- Experience supporting RFP, DDQ, consultant questionnaire, or institutional fundraising processes.
- Ability to synthesize complex financial and investment information into concise, compelling content.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with exceptional attention to detail.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
- Experience working with institutional investors, consultants, placement agents, or fundraising teams is highly desirable.
- Bachelor's degree required; advanced degree or relevant professional designation is a plus.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a deadline-driven environment.
- Strong interpersonal skills and a collaborative approach to working across teams.
