IoT Backend Engineer (Real-Time Data & Integration)

Role Scope

Design and build backend systems that enable real-time integration between OT/IoT field devices and digital platforms. Focus on data ingestion, protocol translation, and scalable pipelines to support digital twin and analytics use cases.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop backend services and middleware for OT/IoT data ingestion (OPC-UA, MODBUS, MQTT)
• Build and manage data pipelines to process and route real-time telemetry
• Integrate AI coding tools to enhance development, testing, and validation
• Create and maintain automated tests for integration and data processing components
• Collaborate with frontend, architects, and OT teams to define APIs and resolve issues
• Support CI/CD, deployments, and field-level troubleshooting

Requirements

• Hands-on experience with industrial protocols (OPC-UA, MODBUS, MQTT)
• Strong backend development skills (Python, Node.js, Go, or Java)
• Experience with real-time data systems, message brokers, and event-driven architecture
• Familiarity with test automation, CI/CD, and containerization (Docker/K8s)
• Exposure to IoT/OT environments, system integration, and problem-solving in live environments,
