IT Business Intelligence Analyst - Western Headquarters - FT
Job Objective:
To act as a key advisor to executive leadership, including but not limited to the CEO, CFO, COO and CPO, shaping and advancing the organization’s data strategy to enable informed, enterprise wide decision making. By collaborating across departments, this role transforms business requirements into automated, intuitive reporting and analytics solutions. Through the delivery of impactful insights and the promotion of data best practices, the position drives operational excellence and fosters a culture of continuous improvement. This position reports to the Vice President of Technology who evaluates performance annually.

Essential Job Functions:
- Lead the design, development, and continuous improvement of enterprise BI data models, semantic layers, and standardized KPI definitions.
- Establish and enforce Power BI standards, including naming conventions, performance optimization, and data governance practices.
- Safeguard sensitive business data by ensuring proper handling, storage, access, and distribution of confidential internal and external datasets.
- Translate complex data analysis into clear, actionable insights and executive-level recommendations.
- Utilize embedded AI and machine learning capabilities within BI tools to deliver predictive analytics, anomaly detection, automated alerts, and natural language query solutions.
- Collaborate with IT to design, enhance, and optimize data warehouse architecture and performance.
- Evaluate and recommend BI tools, features, and emerging analytics capabilities to advance organizational data maturity.
- Integrate and manage data from diverse internal and external sources within the enterprise data warehouse.
- Monitor and improve data quality and integrity through cross-functional collaboration to identify and resolve issues.
- Conduct data profiling to validate business requirements, test assumptions, and identify data or process gaps.
- Present analytical findings and strategic insights to executive leadership and key stakeholders.
- Serve as a subject matter expert in Power BI, SQL, and analytics best practices.
- Lead training and enablement initiatives to increase data literacy and analytics capability across the organization.
- Support and contribute to special projects and strategic initiatives as needed.
