From race engineers and mechanics to senior leadership, you'll ensure mission-critical radio and intercom systems are operating flawlessly throughout race weekends.

This is a unique opportunity to combine communications engineering, IT infrastructure and trackside operations in one of the most demanding and rewarding environments in world sport. You'll travel to every Formula One race, working as part of a high-performing Trackside IT team where reliability, precision and teamwork are essential.
  • Take full ownership of the setup, configuration, operation and pack-down of all trackside radio, intercom and communications equipment at Formula One races and test events.
  • Attend every Formula One race throughout the season, ensuring communications systems are fully operational before, during and after each event.
  • Configure, programme and maintain communications hardware and software, including radios, intercom panels, belt packs and virtual communication systems.
  • Monitor the availability and performance of all communications infrastructure, proactively identifying and resolving issues to minimise downtime.
  • Work closely with communications vendors and key motorsport stakeholders, including the FIA, Formula One Management (FOM) and technical partners, to maintain reliable race operations.
  • Provide first-class technical support to the race team, supporting everyone from mechanics and engineers to senior leadership during race weekends.
  • Assist the wider Trackside IT team with infrastructure, networking, servers, storage, client devices, AV systems, documentation, backups and general IT operations when communications duties allow.
  • Maintain communications equipment inventory, asset management, freight preparation and audit documentation throughout the season.
  • Support infrastructure improvements, change management and incident management processes, following ITIL best practices where appropriate.
  • Contribute to new trackside technology projects and continuous improvement initiatives both at the circuit and at the factory.

  • Proven experience supporting communications systems within motorsport or another fast-paced, mission-critical technical environment.
  • Strong knowledge of enterprise IT infrastructure, including Windows Server, VMware, Active Directory, Microsoft technologies and server/client hardware.
  • Experience with enterprise networking technologies (Cisco, Juniper, Palo Alto or HP), with relevant certifications desirable.
  • Strong troubleshooting and fault-finding skills, with the ability to diagnose and resolve issues quickly under pressure.
  • Knowledge of motorsport communications systems, intercom platforms or motorsport-specific technologies would be highly advantageous.
  • Understanding of cloud technologies, including Microsoft Azure, Microsoft 365 and Linux/Kubernetes environments, would be beneficial.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to build strong working relationships across technical and non-technical teams.
  • Highly organised, adaptable and resilient, with the ability to prioritise effectively and remain calm in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
