IT CYBERSECURITY SPECIALIST (INFOSEC)

This position is being recruited under 10 USC 1599f into the Cyber Excepted Service and does NOT convey eligibility to be converted to the Competitive Service. It has been identified as a position necessary to carry out and support the mission of the US Cyber Command. It is in the Professional Work Category at the Senior Work Level within the CES Occupational Structure. It is located in the DISA Joint Provider, Pentagon Force Protection Agency (PFPA) (JPP).

You will work in the JPP Engineering Branch and oversee advanced, parallel IT projects across a diverse ecosystem including on-prem data centers, telecom circuits, operational IT, AV/VTC, cloud environments, and transition to Zero Trust architecture.

You will work within DoD policy boundaries to create innovative, compliant solutions for life cycle refreshes (LCR) and new capabilities.

Direct and manage IT programs across Networks, Systems Administration, Engineering, and Cyber.

Translate functional business needs into technical requirements. Develop and oversee acquisition artifacts (Business Requirement Documents (BRD), Statements of Work (SOW), and Independent Government Cost Estimates (IGCE)

Plan and evaluate cost models, and execute Life Cycle Refreshes for hardware and software.

Ensure all engineering solutions align with DoD, OMB, and Presidential IT directives, by working directly with the Cybersecurity Branch.
