IT Disaster Recovery Lead (APAC)

A core member of the Business Continuity Management team, the IT Disaster Recovery Specialist works with dedicated IT professionals to ensure our clients maintain access to their critical information assets while keeping Citco ahead of industry trends.

  • Responsible for assisting with all aspects of the Business Continuity and Disaster Recovery program.

  • As part of a cross-trained team, the ability to assist with both BCP and DR deliverables is critical.

  • Plan schedule, and coordinate the execution of small to large scale global BCP and DR testing

  • Assist with documentation. Documentation is a large part of this role.

  • Planning, execution, and post-implementation activities for projects within the Business Continuity / Disaster Recovery team.

  • Assist with development and regular review of BCP and DR and documentation.

  • Maintenance of SharePoint portals and archival of old data.

  • Utilize Service Desk online tool to search and create Change Orders, Request tickets, and Configuration Items.

  • Create and maintain business continuity and disaster recovery testing and metric reports.

  • Data entry and analysis of testing results using SharePoint and other online tools.

  • Professional email and phone communication with teams across many countries and time zones. This includes scheduling and leading conference calls.

  • Execute processes and procedures to be followed for different locations in the event of an office outage.

  • Participation in the Incident Management process when required for Priority issues; This requires some level of IT background and knowledge (infrastructure components, operating systems, application basics).

  • Represent the DR Team in review of all applications for conformance with IT standards and DR methodologies.

  • Assist with planning and execution of VDI BCP testing (virtual BCP testing).

  • Maintain quick reference Documentation for Office BCP/DR to assist in actual disaster situations.

  • Participate and lead BCP/DR testing and recovery activities including some non-business hours and weekend work.

  • Address requests for both internal and external audits.

  • Deep understanding of Business Continuity and Disaster Recovery with applicable experience.

  • An understanding of IT concepts and general technologies and ability to lead technical planning calls with IT staff.

  • CBCP or equivalent (a plus).

  • Experience using SalesForce platform (a plus).

  • Experience using Fusion Risk Management BCP software (a plus).

  • Proficiency using Microsoft SharePoint.

  • Proficiency using the Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

  • Comlex problem solving and critical thinking skills.

  • Excellent communication and documentation skills; Must be able to communicate professionally

  • Ability to be self-directed when required; Self-starter.

  • Project Management Experience and Skills: organized and able to keep track of many tasks at one time. Able to prioritize work according to deadlines.

  • Demonstrated strong proficiency in interpersonal and communication skills including oral and written English.

  • Availability and willingness to travel occasionally to other Citco locations for business.
