IT Infrastructure Project Manager
Job Description Summary & Duties:
• This position is responsible for managing Information Technology infrastructure related hardware and/or software deployment projects including leading efforts through architecture, design, build and deploy phases using structured approach.
• The job includes managing staff, vendors, capital and expense budgets for projects and reporting status and progress to management.
• A high level of communication skills, detail orientation and passion to drive results is essential for the role.
Essential job functions:
• Project planning and implementation.
• Develop summary and report on project status.
• Resource and cost management.
Minimum experience:
• 5 to 7+ years IT project management experience with demonstrated experience leading large scale IT deployment and implementation projects in the infrastructure space.
• Strong project management skills around task and time management, delegation and accountability, project financials, and resource allocations.
• Skilled in project management best practices such as building work breakdown structures (WBS), Waterfall, methodologies.
• Able to manage project risk mitigation and issue resolution.
