IT MANAGER
SUMMARY:
The IT Manager is responsible for assisting the Director of IT with managing the overall operations of the IT Department. Responsible for assisting with the successful overall enhancement, installation, and maintenance of all technology. Provides guidance & technical workflow to technical staff for knowledge retention and quality of support. The IT Manager assist with technical projects and setting priorities for technical support. Assists the Director with overall IT operations with adherence to IT Policy & Procedures, CRIT TICS and Compact. In the absence of the IT Director, has the authority of director.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Assist in the coordination and management of IT daily operations.
- Ensures the management of all systems, hardware, networking, and t elecom.
- Manages technical support of all systems and users.
- Assists the Director in planning, implementation, and management of departmental procedures.
- Regularly reviews and evaluates departmental performance, working with technical staff to take the appropriate steps necessary to improve results or conditions.
- Delegates responsibility and authority to the appropriate technical staff.
- Ensures the management of security levels and access to systems.
- Assist Director with to maintain IT Compliance.
- Maintains a working knowledge of technology.
- Contacts vendors with regards to software and hardware.
- Ensures quality of support by communicating with all users and offering assistance as needed.
- Works with users, vendors, and stakeholders on assigned IT projects.
- Assists with completion of Help Desk and IT Requests.
- Provides proper guidance and training to Network Technicians and Administrators.
- Any other duties as set forth by IT Director.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES:

All Employees must be knowledgeable to all Company policies and procedures, including fire and safety regulations.
Understanding of software and hardware related to casino business systems. Knowledge of applications, software, hardware, interfaces, databases, and networking related to casino business systems. Knowledge
of desktop & server operating systems that casino business systems are developed and built on.
Knowledge of casino operations; and the interactions of departments and customers use of casino business systems. Provide excellent communication to casino systems vendors, casino departments, and technical staff to resolve technical issues and requests. Great aptitude with technical casino proprietary systems/hardware as well as commonly used systems/hardware.
