IT Officer

Job description:

  • Lead and manage the IT department, providing guidance, support, and technical assistance to ensure smooth daily operations.

  • Manage IT vendors and procurement, including negotiating contracts, evaluating solutions, and ensuring cost-effective purchases.

  • Oversee and maintain IT infrastructure, including system upgrades, maintenance, migrations, performance monitoring, and outage planning.

  • Drive technology improvement initiatives by identifying and implementing solutions that enhance efficiency, productivity, and cost savings.

  • Ensure IT security, compliance, and governance through policy enforcement, security monitoring, audits, and best-practice implementation.

  • Manage IT assets, budgets, and licensing, including budget planning, expense verification, software renewals, and resource allocation.

  • Support organizational development and administration by coordinating IT training programs, preparing audit documentation, attending professional training, and assisting with ad hoc administrative tasks.
