IT Project Manager
Responsibilities
- End-to-End Project Management: Lead and manage application development and implementation projects from initiation to delivery, ensuring timelines, budgets, and quality standards are met.
- Stakeholder Coordination: Act as the primary liaison between internal teams, external vendors, and business stakeholders to ensure smooth communication and alignment on project objectives.
- Technical Oversight: Provide guidance on technical aspects of projects, leveraging your programming and database knowledge to support design, development, and troubleshooting.
- Risk & Issue Management: Identify potential risks, develop mitigation strategies, and resolve issues promptly to keep projects on track.
- Documentation & Reporting: Prepare project plans, status reports, and other documentation for management and stakeholders.
Requirements
- Banking Experience: Proven experience working in the banking industry, with a strong understanding of financial systems and regulatory requirements.
- Project Management Expertise: Demonstrated ability to manage application projects end-to-end, including planning, execution, and delivery.
- Communication Skills: Excellent ability to coordinate with diverse stakeholders, vendors, and technical teams.
- Technical Background: Hands-on knowledge of programming languages, SQL, and database management systems.
- Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills to address technical and operational challenges.
- Preferred Certifications: PMP, PRINCE2, or equivalent (a plus but not mandatory).
