CAE is seeking a SOC Analyst (CSIRT) to join its growing cybersecurity team. You will play a key role in monitoring, detecting, and responding to security events to help protect CAE's digital assets.
This is an excellent opportunity for individuals starting their cybersecurity careers in a fast-paced SOC environment.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Monitor and analyze security events from multiple sources.
- Detect, analyze and triage incidents.
- Document investigations and maintain records.
- Support incident response activities.
- Prepare reports and communicate findings.
- Stay up to date on cybersecurity threats and trends.
- Maintain and improve SOC processes.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security or related field.
- Relevant certifications may substitute education.
- Knowledge of security tools (SIEM, IDS/IPS, EDR, DLP, firewalls).
Preferred Qualifications
- Analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work under pressure.
- Knowledge of networking protocols and operating systems.
- Understanding of common attack techniques.
- Experience in cybersecurity is an asset.
- Basic French language skills considered an asset.
