IT Support
Work location: The Vertical Business Suite, Bangsar South., Malaysia
Working time: Mon - Fri 9:00 am - 6:00 pm, work at the office 100%
Key Responsibilities
๊User support and helpdesk
• Provide IT support for Malaysia office employees
• Manage IT ticketing system with SLA targets
• Conduct remote and on-site troubleshooting for hardware, software, and network issues
• Maintain knowledge base and self-service documentation for common issues
Hardware & Asset Management
• Procure, configure, and deploy laptops, desktops, monitors, and peripherals
• Manage IT asset inventory and lifecycle (onboarding, transfers, offboarding)
• Coordinate with vendors for hardware repairs, warranties, and replacements
• Implement asset tracking system with quarterly audits
Software & License Management
• Install, configure, and update corporate software
• Manage software license compliance and renewals for Malaysia entity
• Administer user access provisioning/deprovisioning
• Support software Installation
Network & Infrastructure Support
• Monitor and maintain local network infrastructure (WiFi, switches, routers, firewalls)
• Manage meeting room AV equipment, video conferencing systems (Zoom, Teams)
• Coordinate with regional IT for connectivity issues and ISP management
• Implement network security policies and access controls
Onboarding & Offboarding
• Execute IT onboarding checklist for new hires (equipment setup, access grants, orientation)
• Conduct IT offboarding procedures for departing employees (equipment recovery, access revocation)
• Provide new hire IT training sessions (security awareness, tool usage)
Local Compliance & Vendor Management
• Manage relationships with local IT vendors (ISP, hardware suppliers, service providers)
• Coordinate with Finance for IT budget tracking and procurement approvals
• Maintain audit-ready documentation for compliance requirements
Requirements
Malaysia-Specific Responsibilities
- 3 – 5 years of experience in mobile or full-stack application development
- Good command in Bahasa Malaysia and English
Regional Coordination
• Coordinate with local HR for employee lifecycle events
• Partner with Facilities for office moves, expansions, or renovations
Local Language Support
• Provide IT support in Bahasa Malaysia and English
• Translate IT communications and documentation for local staff
• Support local regulatory filings requiring IT documentation
