IT Support Engineer / IT Support Executive

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled <\/span><\/span>IT Support Engineer<\/span><\/span><\/b> to join our team. The ideal candidate will provide technical assistance to internal users, maintain IT infrastructure, troubleshoot hardware/software issues, and ensure smooth day\-to\-day IT operations. This role requires strong problem\-solving skills, customer\-centric thinking, and the ability to work in a fast\-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities<\/span><\/span><\/b>

Technical Support<\/span><\/b>
<\/h3>
  • Provide <\/span><\/span>Level 1/Level 2 support<\/span><\/span><\/b> for desktops, laptops, printers, and network devices.<\/span>
    <\/span><\/span><\/li>
  • Troubleshoot issues related to <\/span><\/span>Windows OS, macOS, Linux (basic), Office 365<\/span><\/span><\/b>, and enterprise applications.<\/span>
    <\/span><\/span><\/li>
  • Install, configure, and maintain hardware, software, and peripherals.<\/span>
    <\/span><\/span><\/li>
  • Handle <\/span><\/span>system upgrades, patch management, and regular maintenance<\/span><\/span><\/b>.<\/span>
    <\/span><\/span><\/li>
  • Troubleshoot <\/span><\/span>LAN, WAN, Wi\-Fi, VPN, DNS, DHCP<\/span><\/span><\/b> related issues.<\/span>

  • Manage user accounts, permissions, and access through <\/span><\/span>Active Directory<\/span><\/span><\/b>.<\/span><\/span>

    Infrastructure & Monitoring<\/span><\/b>

    • Assist in maintaining <\/span><\/span>network devices<\/span><\/span><\/b> (routers, switches, firewalls).<\/span>
      <\/span><\/span><\/li>
    • Monitor system performance and ensure uptime.<\/span>
      <\/span><\/span><\/li>
    • Support installation and maintenance of <\/span><\/span>servers, cloud solutions, backups, storage devices<\/span><\/span><\/b>, etc. (as applicable).<\/span>
      <\/span><\/span><\/li>
    • Ensure IT assets are tracked, updated, and maintained.<\/span><\/span>

      User Support<\/span><\/b>

      • Respond to user queries via email, phone, or ticketing system.<\/span>
        <\/span><\/span><\/li>
      • Provide timely resolution and escalate issues to senior engineers when needed.<\/span>
        <\/span><\/span><\/li>
      • Train employees on basic IT usage, security practices, and software tools.<\/span><\/span>

        IT Administrative Tasks<\/span><\/b>

        • Maintain logs, documentation, and SOPs.<\/span>

        • Support procurement of IT hardware/software.<\/span>

        • Ensure compliance with IT security policies and audit requirements.<\/span><\/span>

          Required Skills & Qualifications<\/span><\/span><\/b>

          • 3+ years of experience as <\/span><\/span>IT Support Engineer / Desktop Support / Technical Support<\/span><\/span><\/b>.
            <\/span><\/span><\/li>
          • Strong knowledge of: <\/span><\/span>
            • Windows OS (7/10/11), macOS basics
              <\/span><\/span><\/li>
            • Office 365 / Outlook / Email configurations
              <\/span><\/span><\/li>
            • Networking (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN)
              <\/span><\/span><\/li>
            • Active Directory & basic server concepts
              <\/span><\/span><\/li><\/ul><\/li>
            • Experience with ticketing tools (Jira, Freshservice, Zoho Desk, etc.).
              <\/span><\/span><\/li>
            • Good troubleshooting and diagnostic skills.
              <\/span><\/span><\/li>
            • Excellent communication and customer\-service orientation.
              <\/span><\/span><\/li>
            • Ability to handle multiple tasks and work independently.

              • Knowledge of cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, Google Workspace)
