Job Title: IT Systems Specialist

Location: Mexico City (On-site)
Employment Type: Full-Time

Role Overview

We’re seeking a detail-oriented IT Systems Specialist to support global IT operations. This role combines hands-on technical support with ownership of key operational areas like asset management, ticket triage, and documentation. You’ll work closely with the Senior Systems Administrator (USA) and regional IT teams to ensure consistent, scalable support across offices.

Key Responsibilities

Technical Support (L1/L2)

  • Provide end-user support for hardware, software, and SaaS (Jira ticketing)
  • Troubleshoot workstations, access issues, and basic networking
  • Support onboarding/offboarding (devices, access, setup)
  • Deliver onsite/deskside support as needed

Ticketing & Operations

  • Triage and manage global Jira tickets (prioritization, assignment, SLAs)
  • Collaborate with regional IT teams to maintain coverage
  • Help reduce backlog and support urgent issues

Asset & Endpoint Management

  • Own and maintain global IT asset inventory (Lansweeper)
  • Track asset lifecycle (procurement → retirement)
  • Improve data accuracy, reporting, and standardization

Software & Access Governance

  • Enforce approved software standards across endpoints
  • Track software usage and licensing
  • Assist with access reviews and audit readiness

Documentation & Process Improvement

  • Maintain IT knowledge base (runbooks, SOPs, user guides)
  • Document and standardize IT processes globally
  • Identify and recommend operational improvements

Required Skills & Experience

  • 3–5 years in IT support or IT operations
  • Experience with Microsoft 365, Entra ID, Intune
  • Familiarity with Jira or similar ticketing tools
  • Experience with asset management (Lansweeper preferred)
  • Strong troubleshooting and deskside support skills
  • Solid understanding of endpoint environments (Windows)
  • Clear documentation and organizational skills

Nice to Have

  • Experience improving asset management systems
  • Basic scripting (PowerShell, Python)
  • Reporting tools (Excel, Power BI)

Compensation & Benefits
  • MXN $21,000 – $29,000 gross/month
