A bit about your role
The IT Technical Specialist supports the effective management and governance of end‑user technology, focusing on delivering reliable, high‑performing IT services and improving user experience. You use ITSM tools like ServiceNow to produce clear reporting, insights, and performance metrics that inform decisions and drive continuous improvement.
The role involves analysing data to identify trends, enhancing service delivery across technologies such as Citrix, Microsoft 365, and Windows endpoints, and contributing to projects and BAU initiatives. You also work closely with vendors and internal stakeholders to strengthen asset management, ensure compliance, and continuously uplift service quality and operational maturity, with success measured through user satisfaction, service performance, and governance outcomes.

You apply ITIL practices to manage incidents and problems, meet service levels, and continuously improve processes and user experience. With a strong customer focus, you communicate clearly, handle sensitive situations with professionalism, and use sound judgement to influence outcomes and resolve issues.
You analyse data, identify risks and improvement opportunities, and contribute to governance, security, and project initiatives. You build effective relationships, collaborate well across teams, and have hands‑on knowledge of enterprise IT environments, including Microsoft technologies, Active Directory, Office 365, Citrix, Windows platforms, networking, and end‑user devices, alongside the ability to produce clear documentation and reports.
