Using excellent customer service and communications skills, your primary duties in this role include:

  • Responsible for ensuring proper computer operation for end users.
  • Includes documenting, prioritizing, troubleshooting and resolving help requests.
  • Problem resolution may involve the use of diagnostic and help request tracking tools, communication using telephone, email, Instant Messaging, remote control, and personal interaction.
  • Problem resolution may involve formal escalation to other technical resources.
  • Ensuring proper computer operation may involve performing computer maintenance, troubleshooting printer issues, and administration tasks as assigned.
  • Manages IT asset inventory, including ensuring decommissioned equipment is removed. Submits Epic ServiceNow tickets to maintain and manage proper workstation functionality.
  • Manages Epic accounts, including creating new roles, granting EPIC system access.
  • May process and coordinate day to day telecommunication activities for adds, moves, and changes to telephone, agents, voicemail, and emergency systems.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Salary:

Hiring range, based on experience and credentials: $28.70-$38.82 per hour.

Workdays: This position is based at our Peterkort Center Office in Southwest Portland and requires travel to other The Oregon Clinic office locations throughout the Portland Metro Area. Typical hours are Monday-Friday, 4 days, 10-hour shifts. Day off: T.B.D. (6:30 am - 5:30 pm).

Qualifications that support success in this role are based on education, experience and values including:

  • Minimum one (1) year of relevant experience or schooling is required. Prior IT experience in the medical industry is a plus!
  • Experience with common computer hardware, Microsoft Office suite or similar business applications, Mac OSX, recent versions of Microsoft Windows and Terminal Services.
  • Reliable transportation and willingness to commute throughout the Portland Metro area are required.
  • Skill in technical problem analysis and troubleshooting.
  • Excellent attendance and work ethic.
  • Positive attitude and desire to be a team player.
  • Ability to communicate professionally and effectively with patients, physicians and other team members.
  • A commitment to patient-focused care, privacy, and safety.
