IT Technician
In this role as the IT Technician, you will assist our internal clients with all tiers 1 and 2 IT tickets including computer and related hardware, phone systems, and software support issues. This position provides exceptional customer service through phone, video, email, in person and via remote connection to assist with hardware installations, software upgrades, systems integrations, and other IT\-related issues. This role is also responsible for building and deploying new machines and other hardware for users, including shipping to remote locations.\u202fThis role may assist with maintaining active directory database, creating, and maintaining SOP documentation, supporting all new hire onboarding, and offboarding procedures, assisting with maintaining IT related asset inventory, and other special IT projects.

This role is 100% on\-site with no opportunity for remote work. The role supports multiple locations across the Greater Seattle area. A \u201chome\u201d location will be assigned with a regular or as\-needed schedule for visits to the other locations to be determined.

The responsibilities of the position include the following:\u202f

- Respond to corporate, remote and plant staff to help with support requests. Perform 1st\u202fand 2nd\u202ftier desktop troubleshooting.\u202f
<\/span><\/li>- Contact internal clients to find out the nature of the problem. Actively support knowledge transfer and training to network operations staff.\u202f
<\/span><\/li>- Provide top\-tier customer service by phone, video, email, in person and via remote connection.\u202f
<\/span><\/li>- Troubleshoot hardware and software issues.\u202f
<\/span><\/li>- Install and maintain hardware and computer peripherals.\u202f
<\/span><\/li>- Install and upgrade operating systems and computer software.\u202f
<\/span><\/li>- Troubleshoot networking and connection issues.\u202f
<\/span><\/li>- Advise on software or hardware upgrades.\u202f
<\/span><\/li>- Provide basic training in computer operation and management.\u202f
<\/span><\/li>- Complete job reports and ordering supplies.\u202f
<\/span><\/li>- Assist with business systems from project scope and system selection to daily maintenance.\u202f
<\/span><\/li>- Actively assist with system implementation projects.\u202f
<\/span><\/li>- Assist in the implementation and operational support of the core mission services and network.\u202f
<\/span><\/li>- Monitor all personal computers to ensure that software distributions and updates are being performed. Provide technical advice to clients when necessary.\u202f
<\/span><\/li>- Perform analysis of network loads and capacity to optimize system performance and provide statistical reports to the IT Director.\u202f
<\/span><\/li>- Other duties are to ensure the facility and organization is fully supported and successful.

<\/div><\/span>Requirements<\/h3>
Education and Experience\u202f
<\/div>
<\/div>- 4+ years of experience in the IT field, experience with connectivity, inter\-operability, operational readiness, and security and compliance systems maintenance.\u202f
<\/span><\/li>- A minimum of 2\-year Microsoft Windows System Administration/technical support.\u202f
<\/span><\/li>- Specific knowledge in Microsoft Office Products and client applications with strong background in O365, Active Directory, teleconference technology.\u202f
<\/span><\/li>- Proven work experience as a desktop support engineer or support technician.\u202f
<\/span><\/li>- Advanced knowledge of computer hardware systems, chipsets, memory modules, and peripherals.\u202f
<\/span><\/li>- Knowledge of popular operating systems, software applications, and remote connection systems.\u202f<\/span>

<\/div>This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines. Position requires onsite presence at one of our Alaska processing facilities, and the ability to travel, including at times to remote locations.
