Janitor

The Janitor is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness, safety, and appearance of the condominium's common areas and facilities. This position helps ensure a clean, welcoming, and well\-maintained environment for residents, guests, and staff.

Key Responsibilities:

Clean and maintain common areas, including lobbies, hallways, stairwells, elevators, laundry rooms, fitness centers, and recreational areas.
<\/li>
Sweep, mop, vacuum, dust, and polish floors and surfaces.
<\/li>
Clean and sanitize restrooms and replenish supplies.
<\/li>
Empty trash and recycling bins and dispose of waste properly.
<\/li>
Clean windows, doors, mirrors, and other glass surfaces in common areas.
<\/li>
Monitor building grounds and remove litter, leaves, and debris.
<\/li>
Perform basic maintenance tasks such as replacing light bulbs, unclogging drains, and reporting maintenance issues.
<\/li>
Assist with seasonal duties, including snow removal, salting walkways, or leaf cleanup, as required.
<\/li>
Set up and clean up community rooms for meetings or resident events.
<\/li>
Maintain cleaning equipment and ensure supplies are stocked.
<\/li>
Follow all safety procedures and use cleaning chemicals according to manufacturer guidelines.

Respond promptly to cleaning requests and emergencies.
<\/li>
Report safety hazards, damages, or security concerns to the property manager or maintenance supervisor.
