Java Developers (AMK)
Responsibilities
- Develop and enhance software applications with complex functional and high-performance requirements to support business objectives
- Analyze system requirements and design technical solutions for software change requests and enhancements to optimize functionality
- Execute software integration tests and support system integration and performance testing to ensure quality and reliability
- Troubleshoot and resolve production issues promptly to maintain system stability and availability
- Maintain and update comprehensive software documentation to support development and operational continuity
- Apply object-oriented analysis and design (OOAD) and UML to model software solutions effectively
- Utilize software development tools and frameworks including Java, J2EE, Spring, Hibernate, JVM, WebLogic, Oracle DB, and SQL Server to build scalable applications
- Implement software unit testing to validate code quality and functionality
- Employ in-memory data grid technologies such as Oracle Coherence or similar products to enhance application performance
- Leverage containerization and orchestration technologies including Docker and Kubernetes to streamline deployment and scalability
- Participate in the full software development lifecycle (SDLC) to deliver end-to-end software solutions
- Collaborate on-site as required to support project needs and stakeholder engagement
Required competencies and certifications
- Diploma or Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or Software Engineering
Preferred competencies and qualifications
- Extensive knowledge and hands-on experience with Java, J2EE, Spring, Hibernate, JVM, WebLogic, Oracle DB, and SQL Server
- Experience developing software applications using in-memory data grids such as Oracle Coherence or similar products
- Proficiency in OOAD and UML for software design
- Familiarity with software unit testing methodologies
- Experience with various software development tools
- Familiarity with Docker and Kubernetes containerization and orchestration technologies
- Experience managing the full software development lifecycle (SDLC)
