Java Developers (AMK)

Responsibilities

  • Develop and enhance software applications with complex functional and high-performance requirements to support business objectives
  • Analyze system requirements and design technical solutions for software change requests and enhancements to optimize functionality
  • Execute software integration tests and support system integration and performance testing to ensure quality and reliability
  • Troubleshoot and resolve production issues promptly to maintain system stability and availability
  • Maintain and update comprehensive software documentation to support development and operational continuity
  • Apply object-oriented analysis and design (OOAD) and UML to model software solutions effectively
  • Utilize software development tools and frameworks including Java, J2EE, Spring, Hibernate, JVM, WebLogic, Oracle DB, and SQL Server to build scalable applications
  • Implement software unit testing to validate code quality and functionality
  • Employ in-memory data grid technologies such as Oracle Coherence or similar products to enhance application performance
  • Leverage containerization and orchestration technologies including Docker and Kubernetes to streamline deployment and scalability
  • Participate in the full software development lifecycle (SDLC) to deliver end-to-end software solutions
  • Collaborate on-site as required to support project needs and stakeholder engagement

Required competencies and certifications

  • Diploma or Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or Software Engineering

Preferred competencies and qualifications

  • Extensive knowledge and hands-on experience with Java, J2EE, Spring, Hibernate, JVM, WebLogic, Oracle DB, and SQL Server
  • Experience developing software applications using in-memory data grids such as Oracle Coherence or similar products
  • Proficiency in OOAD and UML for software design
  • Familiarity with software unit testing methodologies
  • Experience with various software development tools
  • Familiarity with Docker and Kubernetes containerization and orchestration technologies
  • Experience managing the full software development lifecycle (SDLC)
