  • Carry out electrical maintenance, inspection, testing, troubleshooting, and repair activities on electrical systems and equipment in accordance with approved procedures and work instructions.
  • Ensure all work is performed safely and in compliance with company HSE policies, Permit to Work (PTW) requirements, and site regulations.
  • Review work permits, job plans, risk assessments, and method statements before commencing activities.
  • Isolate, lock out, and tag out electrical equipment as required and verify safe working conditions before starting work.
  • Perform preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance on motors, transformers, switchgear, MCCs, distribution boards, UPS systems, lighting systems, and associated electrical equipment.
  • Conduct inspections and functional tests of electrical installations and equipment to ensure operational reliability and compliance with standards.
  • Diagnose electrical faults and implement corrective actions to restore equipment to service efficiently.
  • Read and interpret electrical drawings, schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical manuals.
  • Ensure tools, instruments, and testing equipment are maintained, calibrated, and used correctly.
  • Coordinate with supervisors, planners, operations personnel, and other maintenance disciplines to execute assigned work effectively.
  • Verify worksite readiness and ensure required materials, spare parts, and resources are available before starting jobs.
  • Maintain good housekeeping practices and keep work areas clean and safe throughout the job execution.
  • Report equipment defects, unsafe conditions, incidents, and maintenance findings to the Supervisor.
  • Record completed work, test results, and maintenance activities accurately in maintenance management systems and reports.
  • Participate in toolbox talks, safety meetings, and training programs as required.
  • Assist during plant shutdowns, turnarounds, commissioning, and emergency maintenance activities.
  • Ensure compliance with applicable electrical standards, company procedures, and regulatory requirements.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance equipment reliability, safety, and maintenance efficiency.
  • Diploma/ITI/Bachelors in Electrical Engineering or equivalent technical qualification.
  • Minimum 3–5 years of experience in Oil & Gas, Petrochemical, Power, or Industrial facilities.
  • Good knowledge of electrical safety practices, PTW systems, and Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) procedures.
  • Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings and technical documentation.
  • Experience in ADNOC projects is an advantage.
  • Physically fit and capable of working in industrial plant environments, including shutdown and turnaround activities.
  • Strong willingness to learn and adapt to a dynamic project environment.
  • Attention to detail with a commitment to quality and safety.
  • Effective communication skills and a team-oriented approach.
  • Ability to follow instructions, meet deadlines, and manage time effectively.
  • Willingness to work on-site at various ADNOC project locations in Abu Dhabi.
  • Flexibility to work in shifts and extended hours as project demands require.
